One of American history’s most notorious bank robbers, John Dillinger, was captured in Tucson on January 25th, 1934. Details tend to vary about what led to the Dillinger Gang’s arrest, but some accounts state that the worm turned when the Gang tipped some firefighters a little too exorbitantly after being rescued from a burning Hotel Congress.
